On November 23rd, 2022, Utopia Syndicate presented two manifestations of our research project the day after yesterday. The first was our Hope Altar. We have been gathering a collection of items from people who have joined us in our research by asking “what is something that would be present in your utopia? What is something you hope is here in the future?” Dozens of people have given us objects, or sent us on a hunt for an object that holds their hope for a future. In Studio One, we invited daydreamers into this altar. In the foyer, we invited everyone into the clouds to play games to think about the future: Futurity Catchers and M.A.S.H.

We had a blast, collected many items for the altar, and collected so many hopes.
